After many years working in various larger bodyshops and seeing how inefficiently they are run and the big bills that customers were receiving for relatively minor bodywork damage I decided to open a smaller scale body shop focusing on the needs of the customer and not the insurance companies.
Originally Autosmart Glasgow was set up as a mobile company carrying out small repairs at the customers home or workplace but quickly outgrew this business model simply due to the amount of work generated. As mobile repairs are limited to smaller areas and the amount of large scale repairs that I was being offered are not suitable for mobile repair the decision was made to attain premises where larger work could be accommodated.
This allows to continually offer the great savings and convenience of the repair service and made the repair process more reliable as it was no longer was at the mercy of the infamous Scottish weather which made the mobile service difficult.
All work is carried out by the business owner James who has almost 30 years experience in car paintwork repairs. Don't have all manner of people driving your car from the apprentice with no license to the boy racer taking it for a spin to see what it can do. At Autosmart it will only be James who you will be dealing with your car from start to finish.
